CPS Grab-and-Go Meal Sites
The health and wellbeing of our students and staff is always our top priority.
Since the temporary closure of our schools due to COVID-19, Chicago Public Schools has served millions of grab-and-go meals to families. CPS is committed to providing meals throughout the closure, and you can pick up meals at more than 270 schools, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Search for a CPS meal site near you using this link.
Meal sites are subject to change daily so please check this map before you go. Families may pick up three days worth of meals for every child in their household and ID is not necessary.
Our school has been working hard to design remote learning plans that will provide our students with high-quality learning opportunities. Students are required to participate in remote learning. To view our remote learning plan, please check here.
Illinois Assessment of Readiness
Every spring, Chicago Public Schools administers federally required assessments that not only show how our students are growing academically compared to their peers across the state, but are also used to determine where additional school support and resources are needed.
For the second year in a row, CPS will administer the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) to measure student mastery of the Illinois Learning Standards in English language arts and mathematics in 3rd - 8th grades.

Shaping Cultural & Academic Dimension In Tomorrow's Leaders
APMA molds students to embrace cultural diversity as a means to unify rather than divide, empowering them to be leaders in their future roles as global citizens. Our students are catalysts of change.. so diverse that they speak over 40 different languages.
APMA is a Level 1+ school. Here, a rigorous curriculum is integrated that utilizes the most innovative methodologies in teaching and learning by using up-to-date best practices that are research-based. But we don’t just focus on academics. Equal attention is given to our student’s social and emotional development as they transition from childhood into adulthood.
APMA provides differentiated, authentic instruction where students use real-world experiences to encourage their natural gifts of inquiry and investigation.
With all of these models in place, students are optimally prepared for high school, college and beyond.
